Copp Industrial Manufacturing, Inc. is more than just a manufacturing facility. Collectively the management team has 50 years of mechanical engineering experience associated with the commercial, aerospace and defense industry. All shop technicians and equipment operators are highly skilled in their respective fields.
Customer requirements are understood, and the expertise is available to assist in every aspect of fabrication and assembly.
  Established in 1964 essentially for engineering and fabrication to customer requirements, including military and industrial models, Copp has branched out into contract manufacturing of precision sheet metal, precision machine work and complicated assemblies. Copp Industrial is unique in that all phases of fabrication can be accomplished under one roof. The versatility of the shop allows for performance of all phases of manufacturing, from design to machining, sheet metal, certified welding and various related areas according to customer specifications. Further the company is approved to MIL-I-45208 and has implemented a program of TQM and SPC to control the quality level of our products for our customers. ISO 9001 requirements are being complied with at this time. Please note that Copp is a contract manufacturer. This means that we produce products to other businesses requirements. Usually this take the form of our submitting a bid to produce components or assemblies to our customer's design. A contract is agreed upon, and we produce the products to a specified schedule. |

Copp Industrial Manufacturing, Inc. started out as Copp Industrial Models in 1965.
Engineering and fabricating fine models for use in wind tunnel testing, mock-ups, prototypes and as sales promotion pieces (in low volume) was a primary aspect of our business. Many major aircraft and missile programs were first seen by Pentagon brass and Congressmen in the form of Copp models. The armored vehicle shown is an example.
 We make fine models for industrial and military purposes. These items (costing thousands of dollars) are not for general consumption. Please do not confuse our work with hobby models. |

Copp Industrial has been in its current facilities for more than 13 years. Extensive modification was done to accommodate the type of work being accomplished by CIM. Easy access in and out of the building is facilitated by 5 overhead doors. Our equipment is constantly maintained in top working condition as required by the severe requirements imposed in fabricating our work. For more information see our Equipment List.

At this time Copp Industrial has a staff of 27 highly skilled employees involved in fabricating parts and assemblies for our customers. Of this number, 18 are working in the machine shop, sheet metal and welding areas. Our background was in the Military/Aerospace Industry but as a result of economic conditions Copp has expanded into the Automotive Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry, and High Tech Electronics Industries.
The people staffing our machine shop and sheet metal operations have many years of training and expertise in fabricating to the stringent requirements imposed by our customers. Our welders are qualified to applicable specifications as well as the variety of special requirements that have been imposed on Copp Manufacturing. In addition we offer an engineering/design capability when required by our customers. This has continues to evolve as a result of the interface between our customers and their technical requirements over the years. |
